• End Date: April 27, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2050 - $2100
• Patient Population: Neonates, Adolescents, Adults
• Unit Beds: 13
• Daily Census: 10
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Orientation: 36 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in high-risk obstetrics
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact RN license or Ohio RN license required)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• C-EFM or AWHONN Advanced (NCC C-EFM accepted)
• EPIC charting experience required
• IV start and Labor & Delivery clinical skills required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (one from a manager, director, or leadership role)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns, including high-risk obstetric patients
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and high-risk interventions
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using fetal monitoring equipment
• Administer medications (Pitocin, magnesium sulfate), manage IVs and central lines
• Support breastfeeding and deliver lactation education
• Perform antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other nursing units as needed
• Participate in patient triage, emergency response, and rapid response situations
