Purpose

To assist Northeastern High School and Middle Schools with providing career exploration and instruction to students.

Duties and Responsibilities Work with the team to educate students on future careers. Organize career speakers and or field trips. Instruction on career and education fields and options. Make community connections for career exploration or employment. Organize internships, apprenticeships, etc. Celebrate accomplishments with students who complete internships or certifications. Assist with data analysis. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the district coordinator may deem necessary. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with and deescalate various learners. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare materials.
