Job Summary: Confidentiality required. Set-up TSI tests on computer, administer all developmental departmental tests, assist students with using computer software, tutor math, reading and writing, answer phone, filing and other clerical duties as needed, run errands and assist faculty, staff and students as needs arise. Other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: Must be enrolled at LSCPA for current semester and maintain a 2.5 or better GPA. Working knowledge of math, reading and writing (through first level academic courses). Basic computer skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Telephone, record keeping and scheduling skills. Highly organized and able to multi-task. Responsible, dependable, professional and punctual behaviors exhibited while working in a team environment. Shifts will be arranged around class schedule anytime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. to meet the needs of the Student Success Center. Preferred Qualifications: Completed College Algebra or College Math and Composition. Salary: $8.50 an hour Work Hours: 19 hrs. flex schedule; Limited to working no more than 20 hours per week.
