Program Coordinator, College of Arts & Sciences, Student Life Join the Pre-professional Advising Office team as the Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator provides essential administrative support and management for an office that supports thousands of pre-health and pre-law students and alumni from all undergraduate schools and colleges at Boston University.

Key Responsibilities
Assist students, alumni, parents, faculty, and staff who contact or visit the office by responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, directing visitors to resources, and coordinating with advisors as needed.
Assist in overseeing a team of student employees, including the hiring process.
Maintain students' electronic and paper records with a high degree of confidentiality; manage office resources and reference materials available in the office and online.
Support advisors with professional school application materials and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience preferred.
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with students, alumni, staff, faculty, prospective families, and guests.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to address questions and follow up on concerns.
Excellent communication and writing skills; keen attention to detail.
Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks amid interruptions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, online scheduling and productivity systems (e.g., Handshake, Blackboard, Appointy, Canva), website maintenance (WordPress), and cloud-based software (Google Workspace) or ability to learn quickly.
