Provide the necessary Sales skills to the Sales Department to support Autokiniton in achieving optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity and delivery to assure internal and external customer satisfaction. All aspects of this position rely on accuracy and timeliness on all internal and external information.This position works under limited supervision and can be considered entry to experienced level depending on knowledge and years of experience. Required Skills Learns to apply knowledge to non-routine situations, seeking guidance when needed. Performs most work activities with some degree of independent judgment. Provides key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals. Negotiates product and related Sales and Marketing issues with customers and affiliates. Maintain highly confidential information sensitive to Autokiniton’s business strategy. With support from leadership, develops presentations that clearly and professionally depict Autokiniton, which is consistent with department objectives. Provides customers with information relating to their role that is clear, correct and concise. Assists in completing Request for Quote proposals for new, expanding or service part business. Responds to current and prospective customer issues, resolving misunderstandings, sharing knowledge and increasing satisfaction as it relates to their function. Responds to information, materials, and delivery on other service issues. Track quotes, coordinating internal and external resources for on-time delivery. Helps develop creative solutions to differentiate Autokiniton from competitors. Assures overall customer satisfaction through service, product and information delivery. Analyzes current processes and systems. Investigates, understands and communicates customer program intentions and strategic direction. Cultivates customer accounts seeking greater sales volume, new revised products. Seeks new and expanded current business opportunities that are in line with strategic growth strategies. Guides cross-function proposal team toward developing Request for Quote proposals to bid on new and expanding business. Required Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering related field preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of automotive industry Sales experience; Electric Vehicle experience preferred. Basic knowledge of auto industry and production, service and quality standards. Selling skills to differentiate between the Company from other providers. Strong administrative skills and ability to quickly understand internet database customer interface. Ability to handle difficult situations. Excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proven leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office software. Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations.
