Under general direction from Athletics Facility and Events Supervisors, employee will assist staff and perform duties needed for the execution of athletic contests. Work will be intermittent throughout the year based on the schedule of games within the LCC Athletic Department.
The essential functions of this position are performed both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environments can range from minimal to loud during events, depending on the employee's location, and is minimal during non-event times.
Employee must be available during evenings and weekends due to the schedule of athletic events at LCC.
Note: This position is limited to 19 hours per week and accrues 1 hour of non-compensable sick leave for every 40 hours worked.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities
Work effectively in a service-oriented environment subject to frequently changing conditions and priorities
Perform event setups and breakdowns
Serve in various support roles for athletic competitions, such as Statistical Compilation, Video Recorder, Head Scorebook, and Media for live streaming of events
Typical Qualifications Ability to become proficient (after training period) with Presto Sports Statistical programs for Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, or Basketball
Ability to become proficient (after training period) with video hardware (cameras) and video software management, as well as DevilVision (live video streaming program)

Paid Sick Leave
Student employees (work study and student help) accrue sick leave at a rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. A sick leave balance not to exceed 40 hours will be carried over into January each year.
On-site Childcare Center
Theis a state licensed program that offers high quality childcare for children ages 1 month through kindergarten entry to students, staff and faculty. The center is open Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The program is a participant of the Washington State Early Achievers quality rating and improvement system and rated a level 4-Quality Level of Excellence. Our teachers are trained in the Early Childhood Education field.
Social Security
