The WERACE Student Support Coach provides essential support for data management, student engagement, and workforce development initiatives, ensuring effective implementation of programs and services for adult learners.
Essential Tasks of the Position (Illustrative, not inclusive) Support LACES data management to maintain accurate records and reporting;
Administer CASAS assessments to students and ensure testing security;
Utilize TOPSpro software to generate student, class, and teacher reports;
Proactively connect with disengaged students to support them in completing their program;
Manage the registration portal to ensure new students are contacted and scheduled for orientation and testing;
Collaborate with students attending the WERACE Jobs First Program, assisting them in workforce reentry and program completion;
Attend state and federal data meetings as required by the Connecticut State Department of Education;
Support the Workforce Development Coordinator and Transitions Coordinator in program implementation;
Perform other duties as delegated by the Regional Director of Adult and Continuing Education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organizational and data management skills.
Proficiency in CASAS assessments, LACES, and TOPSpro software.
Ability to engage and support adult learners in achieving educational and workforce goals.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications: Previous experience in adult education, data management, or workforce development preferred.
Familiarity with CASAS, LACES, and TOPSpro software (or willingness to learn).
CASAS proctor and facilitator certification required within 90 days of hire.

Regional Director of Adult and Continuing Education
Work Schedule:
Two week rotation:
Week One: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:30-2:30pm, Tuesdays, 3:00-9:00pm
Week Two: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30-2:30, Wednesdays, 3:00-9:00pm
Hourly Rate of Pay:
$21.00-$26.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications
