Overview Join to apply for the Summer Videographer for Student Life role at Liberty University . The Summer Videographer supports the Office of Student Life in the development, design, and implementation of video assets for Residence Life, Commuter Life, Online Life, and Graduate Life. The position covers a range of project needs from design, filming, and editing of videos to event support capturing photos and video footage. Responsibilities Utilize the Office of Student Life (OSL) brand guides to develop and execute video-based projects, including social media content and assets for events and internal initiatives. Collaborate with the OSL team on a project-by-project basis to produce new materials and update existing content in a timely and creative manner. Provide coverage of events by filming and editing video footage. Provide B-Roll photography and videography support for design initiatives. Occasionally work non-standard hours (outside of Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) as events or photography coverage needs arise. Attend required departmental events and meetings to foster collaboration, problem solving, and community health in the workplace. Contribute input in developing project components and strategies. Provide administrative support as needed. Organize and maintain all digital files in Dropbox. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications And Credentials Minimum Qualifications Must be a Liberty University student Ability to operate a DSLR camera and accessories Ability to use Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to edit footage Preferred Qualifications Be a Liberty University student in a creative/communications field Ability to operate a DSLR camera and accessories Ability to use Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) to edit photos Ability to use Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, etc.) to edit videos and animations Abilities And Competencies Essential To The Function Of The Job Communication Effectively communicates in both verbal and written forms to convey clear, well-articulated information.
