Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Government, Law, & International Relations is seeking tutors to attend tutoring hours and assist students as needed. Required Qualifications Must be a current GOVT major in good academic standing during the time of employment. Must have taken one or more of the four required Core Course required of a GOVT major: GOVT (Intro to American Government) GOVT (Intro to Comparative Politics) GOVT (Intro to Political Theory) GOVT (Intro to Global Politics)
Students tutoring must have a B+ or higher in the course(s) they are tutoring.
Must have approval from Government Supervisor (currently Dr. Adam Lawrence).
Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints).
Preferred Qualifications Job Duties Attended tutoring hours assigned to and assist students as needed. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Must be able to sit for a period of time Posting Open Date 08/25/ Posting Close Date 05/01/ Special Instructions to Applicants
