Job Summary/Basic Function
The Game Management Staff is an essential part of every athletic event at Millersville University. The responsibilities of the Game Management Staff include, but are not limited to: ball retrievers, field preparation, assembly, parking lot monitor. Required Qualifications Must be dependable and responsible.
Applicant must be available to work nights and weekends.
Flexible work schedule – contests and events are held late in the afternoons and into the evenings, as well as weekends.
Positive attitude and assertiveness are a must, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with staff, coaches, and students.
Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints)
Preferred Qualifications Job Duties Assist with game set-up and break down; serve as crowd control; support staff for select sporting events (i.e. ball person for men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, volleyball, baseball, and softball, requires standing and ability to be mobile).
Other duties as assigned. Working Conditions and Physical Effort * Applicant must have the ability to lift 15 pounds. Posting Open Date 09/03/ Posting Close Date 10/17/ Special Instructions to Applicants Previous experience is not required. We will provide training to all.
