Student Worker- Administrative Assistant, Environmental Health & Safety

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a student worker at the Environmental Health & Safety Department. This position will provide the student with experience in basic office operations and business environment with additional experience in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various clerical and accounting duties
  • Serve as the primary receptionist
  • Process day to day financial transactions
  • Assisting with ad-hoc requests to assist with department needs
  • Reconciliation of department purchasing and travel
  • Other duties of this nature as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
  • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidate has experience working in a professional environment
  • Candidates with basic accounting or financial experience from at least one business-related class are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates eligible for the Work-Study program are highly encouraged to apply

Schedule

25 hours/week, Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm

Compensation

Student Employee Level 1

$14.00/hr
