Position Summary:
The Student Assistant for System Testing will support the Undergraduate Academic Affairs team by testing and evaluating new or updated digital systems. This role is ideal for detail-oriented students interested in technology, quality assurance, or process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structured testing of academic systems and platforms (e.g., student portals, scheduling tools, forms).
Document bugs, usability issues, and inconsistencies.
Provide feedback on user experience and interface design.
Assist in creating test cases and scenarios based on system requirements.
Participate in meetings to discuss findings and suggest improvements.
Qualifications: Currently enrolled undergraduate student.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Comfortable navigating digital platforms and learning new tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Prior experience with software testing or QA is a plus but not required.
Learning Outcomes: Gain hands-on experience in system testing and quality assurance.
