Mt Bethel is a growing Wesleyan church that is 2 years removed from the Methodist denomination. Our student ministry mission is to help students encounter Jesus through Worship, Scripture, Missions, and Community. This position is responsible for leading Student Ministry Community initiatives, as well as supporting student, life group leader and parent connection Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement system to further connect MB Student Ministry to local FCA; high school and middle school Spearhead connection plan for Senior students leaving for college Support and attend mission trips for middle and high school students Plan, lead and/or support various events throughout the year; DNOW, Summer Events, Fall Retreats and MBCA events Regular teaching, speaking, and group support in both middle and high school Regular participation in leading different aspects of Sunday morning worship services Regular visitation and participation in Student Ministry life groups Support or improve parent connection initiatives Support vision and mission of MB Students to lead students to a greater life in Jesus Christ Develop and implement community outreach program for students and families Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is preferred A minimum of 5 or more years working in a team environment A minimum 3 years of experience developing biblical content relevant to students and adults A dynamic and engaging communicator to both students and adults Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, and willingness to be trained and extensively interact with database systems utilized by the church
