Job Summary Summary:
Department based internship. Incumbent receives academic credit in accordance with school and internship guidelines. Internship provides hands-on learning experience.
Students involved in this project will be exposed to mouse brain sectioning, immunofluorescence staining, and confocal microscopy to study the brain pathology. They will also participate in behavioral studies examining the cognitive ability of the AD mice. During the training period, participants will learn basic and advanced immunologic techniques related to CNS inflammation and neurodegenerative diseases. Students will be involved in the analysis and interpretation of the data.

Experience: No experience required, but students who have completed a Neuroscience/Immunology course would be preferred.
