Student Engagement and Support Coordinator

Job Summary
Reporting to the Assistant/Associate Director, the Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of student engagement and support initiatives on their assigned campus. This position manages the day-to-day implementation of programs, serves as a primary point of contact for student participants, and oversees communication, outreach, and logistical execution. The Coordinator plays a key role in advancing data-informed efforts to enhance student engagement and success, including supporting student-to-student mentoring programs and assisting with outreach to students who are not actively engaged. The Coordinator also contributes to collaborative initiatives within the Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Development, and Engagement (OELDE) division to ensure consistent and effective program delivery.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the daily execution of student engagement and support initiatives on the assigned campus
Serve as a primary contact for student participants, peer mentors, and campus partners
Assist with the implementation of student-to-student mentoring programs, including recruitment, matching, and engagement monitoring
Lead outreach efforts to connect with students who are not actively engaged with campus resources
Plan and execute campus-based programs, workshops, and events that align with office goals
Manage event logistics, including space reservations, supply coordination, and on-site support
Supervise and provide guidance to assigned graduate assistants and student employees
Track participation and engagement data to inform program improvements and reporting
Maintain accurate communication with students, respond to inquiries, and share relevant updates and resources
Collaborate with colleagues across campuses and within the OELDE division to ensure consistent program delivery and alignment with institutional priorities
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Required Experience
Three (3) or more years of related work experience which could include professional work experience, graduate assistantship experience, and/or appropriate collegiate experience

Bilingual
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master's degree in higher education administration or closely related field
Preferred Experience
Experience in community development
One (1) to three (3) years of related work experience in multicultural affairs and diversity education
Proposed Salary
$20.71 - $21.63 per hour
