Purpose of Position:
The Office of Student Leadership and Development employee must be willing to provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere both in our office and during events on campus. The student employee will need to be detail-oriented and willing to help manage events pertaining to Student Leadership & Development, Career Readiness, Student Government Association, and Student-Led Organizations. This role is looking for an individual that can engage with students, faculty, staff and community partners at CCA based events, meetings, and/or ceremonies. This position will report to the Coordinator of Experiential Learning and Student Engagement or the Assistant Director of Student Leadership & Development.
JOB DUTIES
Event & Campus Participation ?
Support with event programming including set up, sign in table, tear down, and clean up
Researching and contributing ideas to upcoming events
Communicate positively and fulfill tasks with community partners and vendors
Initiating needs and tasks for events
Active participation and involvement on-campus and at events
Participate in marketing & communication around campus
Provide administrative support for scheduling and ordering
Office Management: ?
Maintain office space & storage space
Tabling for resource fairs, recruitment and events as needed
Provide quality customer service to anyone that comes into the office
Assist with the laptop loan program and inventory
Supporting students with complaint forms
Making appointments for staff on campus
Assist in office organization and cleanliness
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Reliable transportation to and from events on and off campus.?
Able to have a flexible schedule.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must have completed FAFSA on file
Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelor's Degree
Must be seeking an eligible program of study
