Job Summary

The Student Assistant will support the Interior Architecture and Design program within the School of Human Ecology as a Research Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2025. The Research Assistant will support Dr. Swati Goel with her research projects. She is currently focused on studying the Impact of Healthcare Design on Individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities.

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Responsibilities

Conduct literature searches using Google Scholar Finding and requesting relevant journal articles and other publications Conduct systematic literature reviews using journal databases Work on synthesizing the identified and relevant articles Contribute to writing the manuscript Assist with research protocol writing, data collection, and analysis Shift Specifics Up to 10 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Education Completion or in the process of completing a class in Research Design Understanding of Behavioral Sciences, Healthcare, Environment, or similar fields

Proposed Salary

$10.00 per hour
