Job Summary

The Student Assistant will support the Campus Recreation and Intramurals Department as a Recreation Facility Assistant on the Statesboro campus beginning Spring 2026.

Responsibilities

Operates the Equipment Desk, Front Desk, and Member Services area during facility operating hours Verifies membership through RecTrac Facility Management Software / Bi Metrics Monitors all participants and guests as they enter and exit the facility Serves as a roving recreation assistant Assists in the safety, supervision, and set-up of free play equipment in all open recreation areas, including the main gymnasium, MAC gymnasium, racquetball concourse, and multipurpose room Shift Specifics Up to 20 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Proposed Salary

$9.00 per hour
