Job Summary

The Student Assistant will support the Campus Recreation and Intramurals as a Marketing Audiovisual Media Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Spring 2026.

Responsibilities

Develops and creates informative, dynamic, and engaging marketing assets and audiovisual resources Maintains the quality of the CRI brand through the positive promotion of programs, services, staff, and facilities Provides digital photography and videography at special events and functions Edits photos and videos Creates commercials and radio spots for programs and events Creates training and orientation videos for staff and facilities Creates graphic elements for use on social media and the web Other duties as assigned Shift Specifics Up to 25 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Education Pursuing a degree in Photography, Videography, Film, Graphic Design, Art or a relevant Communications field Preferred Experience Prior experience in graphic design, print layout, social media management, web design, computer coding and public speaking

Proposed Salary

$9.00 per hour
