Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support the Department of Computer Science as a Learning Assistant to support Dr. Vijayalakshmi Ramasamy on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2025. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities
Develop software tools to support work on the project Maintain a website related to the project Participate in Learning Assistant professional development by taking an online course in the first semester you work on the project Participate in follow-up professional development sessions after the first semester Perform duties in both in-person, online live classes, and assist in collecting research data Shift Specifics Up to 6 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Proposed Salary
$16.00 per hour
