Baseline Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate or master’s student
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
Part-time, remote work with possibility for hybrid if located near Wilsonville, OR; Livonia, MI; Milford, OH; Plano, TX; St Louis, MO; Pasadena, CA.

Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of media relations? Siemens is offering an exciting internship that will immerse you in the heart of our communications strategy.
As an intern, you'll work closely with the Siemens Digital Industries Global Media Relations team, gaining hands-on experience driving media coverage for Siemens and our software by placing thought leadership articles in key magazines, drafting media alerts, and creating compelling content. You'll also get the chance to craft engaging social media material and support high-profile events such as Hannover Messe and Realize LIVE, supporting journalist participation and interviews.
Our goal is to increase awareness, enhance perception, and create a preference for Siemens software by positioning Siemens as an industry and technology leader. This is your chance to be part of a team that shapes the narrative of a global technology powerhouse.

You will champion:
Collaborating with the global team of communications managers to boost the company's reputation and awareness through driving earned media coverage across all zones
Grabbing media buzz, pitching articles in top markets, and tracking media wins.
Crafting buzzworthy content for media releases, social media, and newsletters.
Planning events and boosting teamwork across the organization.
Coming up with fresh ideas and creative ways to create content, grow the media audience, and boost reputation.
Fine-tune coverage, measurement, and reporting skills for Siemens' internal teams and external partners.
Organization Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Masters or Bachelors degree in public relations, communication, journalism or related area.
Excellent verbal and written skills in copywriting and editing.
Deep understanding of social media platforms like Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Confident in public speaking and media engagement.
Ability to prioritize tasks and crush deadlines.
Comfortable with frequent virtual meetings
Flexible, adaptable and proactive.

You’ll Benefit From The hourly pay range for this position is 18-50 per hour for first time Interns or 18-50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
