Responsibilities:

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a broad range of financial tasks. Your duties will include:

Conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accurate financial records. Managing purchasing tasks, including vendor selection, negotiations, and maintaining vendor relations. Setting pricing strategies and ensuring they are correctly implemented across the organization. Overseeing all aspects of accounting, including the preparation of financial reports, budget forecasts, and tax filings. Providing financial guidance and support for construction projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Coordinating logistics operations, including transportation, inventory control, and warehouse management. Regularly reviewing financial processes and systems, recommending improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for the Staff Accountant position will possess the following qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus. A minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role with responsibilities in inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and/or logistics. Proven experience in construction project management or manufacturing is ideal, including financial planning and cost control. Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful vendor relations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
