Public Affairs Department (Houston) Disciplines:
Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Event Planning Aramco Americas Public Affairs serves a dual role in Houston - first to support and advocate the overall business interests of Saudi Aramco in North America, and second to maintain a positive image locally through programs of good corporate citizenship.
These efforts complement Saudi Aramco's global reputation as a reliable supplier of energy while promoting important intercultural understanding.   Summer Student Corporate Communications Opportunity Assists the corporate communications team in the development of communications and digital strategy in support of Aramco Services Company (ASC) and serves as onsite representative for communications at events and with partners on PR activities. Works with other communications team members in the planning and execution of corporate communication services to advance the company’s reputation and raise awareness for Saudi Aramco’s (SAO) role and presence in the U.S.  Typical activities Include:
Assists in managing websites and other digital channels  Assists in creating digital content: writing, photo/video shoots, social media  Communications and analytics reporting  Assists in event planning and staffing  Other administrative tasks TBD Summer Student Events & Branding Strategy Opportunity   The summer student will assist colleagues with sponsored events, conferences, or projects.   Typical activities Include:  Will be supporting the food bank volunteer events; onsite logistics and preparation (t-shirt pickup, etc.) Support Galveston Bay Shoreline cleanup event; onsite logistics and preparation  Support School Supply drive Supporting food bank initiatives Help with writing highlights on events and activities for PA Organizing PA inventory Summer Student Corporate Citizenship Opportunity   Assists the Citizenship team in the development and support of volunteering activities in support of Aramco Services Company (ASC) and serves as representative for events and with partners on Citizenship activities.
Works with other team members in the planning and execution of corporate Citizenship services to advance the company’s reputation and raise awareness for Saudi Aramco’s (SAO) role and presence in the U.S.    ​​​​​​​ Typical activities Include:
Assists in volunteer coordination and support, onsite logistics and preparation.    Assists in advancing communications/highlights: writing, photo/video, social media      Collaborating on analytical reporting    Assists in event planning and staffing     Other administrative tasks TBD      Summer Student Publications Opportunity We are seeking a curious and motivated Intern, interested in cross-cultural topics, to join our team.
This internship offers an opportunity to work on content creation and editorial process for the AramcoWorld magazine (print and digital editions), along with other publications tasks.   Typical activities include:
Assist with research and fact-checking  Write short digital content and captions  Organize social calendars and archives  Create social media content for Instagram and Facebook   Publish website content, when needed  Support the coordination of AramcoWorld print edition logistics  Assist with editorial planning  Pitch stories for print and online content  Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the editorial team    Opportunity eligible for internship course credit (credits earned), please check with your Academic Advisor or University.       Powered by JazzHR
