Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician Program prepares students for a position in a hospital setting. This program is intended for individuals with a high school degree seeking a career in the pharmacy profession. After completing the eight-to-12-week program, graduates will be prepared to take a national certification test, such as the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE)
Job Responsibilities
Pharmacy related duties such as: Stocking medications
Batching IV's
Sterile and non-compounding
Inventory management and quality control.
Education/Experience High school diploma or GED. Math and science focus preferred.
Technician in training license required within 30 days of hire
