Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes. In accordance with Rule 6A-14.064, F.A.C., College Credit Dual Enrollment Courses offered at secondary school locations, this position requires all candidates be employed by an authorized MDC Dual Enrollment secondary school partner. Candidates must meet Miami Dade College Faculty Credential Statement faculty teaching qualifications, including SACSCOCs Principles of Accreditation minimum criteria: A Masters degree in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s) or a Masters degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s). (2025-2026 Academic Year) What you will be doing Teaches lectures sections Evaluates and advises students Develops curricula Recruits students Serves on committees Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, Guidance and Counseling or a related behavioral science; or a Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, Guidance and Counseling or a related behavioral science
