Summary:
The Nursing Student Intern is under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, and provides fundamental nursing care while developing confidence and competence in clinical skills to support the transition into the registered nurse role after graduation. The position works within the nursing process to deliver direct patient care, ensuring safe and effective practices for assigned patients. Additionally, the role serves as a positive role model by fostering a supportive work environment, promoting quality patient care, and adhering to all policies and procedures of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
Certification Requirement Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Education and Experience Matriculation with at least one (1) year in an approved Nursing degree program and completion of two (2) semesters of clinical experience.
