Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The primary focus will be to make protective enclosures and/or boxes for storing fragile or damaged books by carefully measuring each item, choosing the correct archival board depending on size, thickness and weight of each specific item. The tasks will encompass books from the general collection as well as those from the Rare Books Department. The student will do some cataloging tasks that include changing status on books; will keep accurate statistics on all work completed. Will also be responsible for keeping track of supplies and to report in a timely fashion when supplies are needed.
