QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Valid NYS teaching certificate in Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6

QUALIFICATIONS

DESIRED: Experience working in an Integrated Co-Taught classroom setting. Able to prepare lessons and other instructional materials according to the grade and instructional level of your students. Devise appropriate student goals and progress monitor such goals per Individualized Education Programs (IEP's). Oversee and follow IEP recommendations (e.g. behavior plans, reinforcement systems, program modifications and test accommodations) with fidelity across all classroom settings. Collaborate and implement student supports within a general education setting. Proactive collaboration between classroom team, providers and school psychologist. Effective communication across students, staff and parents. Commitment to ongoing professional learning, growth and development Willingness to be participate in and support student activities
