Roles & Responsibilities: Provide security system installation and support services to Director of Technology to ensure the timely delivery of scope of work. Perform Service and Installation of Access Control, Alarm, CCTV & Intercom systems. Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs as necessary on security systems. Perform upgrades and additions to systems in order to increase functionality utilization. Perform computer program entry as required to add CCTV cameras, access control and intrusion alarm systems as needed. Prepare site documentation for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information. Program and Configure Head-end control panels and systems. Perform installation of cabling and device set up and wiring. Dress, terminate and test cables and components. Deliver effective commissioning of security systems to satisfy all quality requirements. Additional Requirements: Experience in installing, programming, troubleshooting, and training in Electronic Security Systems, i.e., Access Control, Alarm, CCTV, and Intercom systems. Willingness and ability to work flexibly and diligently as befits an important role within a fast-growing division. TRAVEL REQUIRED: the candidate must be available to travel up to 20% to job sites in the Northeast Region of the US. Overnight stays may be required. Ability to work with power tools and ladders. Candidate must supply their own basic hand tools; USI will supply specialty tools and testing equipment as well as a van. Ability to work on lifts (scissor and manlifts) OSHA 10 Certified. Ability to complete tasks according to schedule and communicate with supervisors. Knowledge of building construction, ability to read/understand floor plans and riser drawings. Strong communication, customer service skills and neat personal appearance. High level of self-motivation and an ability to work with a high level of initiative. Strong team player who can communicate effectively and displays strong customer service skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and work effectively in high pressure situations. Education Requirements Associate's Degree / Trade School Training Certificate in Technology is preferred, or with relative experience in fire alarm systems.
