Position Summary:
The overall goal of this position is to provide learning assistance to help the student develop from their level of dependence to where they feel confidently independent in their course execution. All time will be utilized in designated tutoring sessions set up by the Tutor Coordinator.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Tutors are responsible for leading one-on-one or small group lessons that cater to the needs and goals of their students. This role includes individualized approaches to material learning and retention as well as advising and supervision on some assignments.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Communication and teaching/mentoring skills are necessary. Knowledge of course concepts for the course being tutored will be mandatory. Additionally, strong study skills and integrity are vital to be both practiced and mentored to students.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent
