2025-09-29 - PURPOSE: The Graduate Assistant position will provide direct support and contributions to the Executive Director of Community Partnerships, with an emphasis on providing support for work being done across the three campuses to support the growing partnership with Albina Vision Trust. The Graduate Assistant will be responsible for co-creating, and implementing processes and structures related to the partnerships that include but are not limited to: communications, professional development and leadership, program support. This work will be collaborative, action-oriented and centered on building reciprocal relationships with community partners. This position will also help direct the work of the undergraduate clerical support position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ● 40% Assist the Executive Director with office management and program development: manage communications; direct social media, newsletter and other communications; assist with Albina Colloquium programming; assist with tracking operational budget. ● 15% Lead assessment efforts for Community Partnerships ● 15% Direct the work of the undergraduate student worker ● 15% Design and provide regular consultations for faculty, staff and students interested in getting involved with partnerships, with trainings on ethical community engagement practices ● 15% Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ● Bachelor's Degree ● Proficiency with Google Suite software ● Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills ● Excellent communication skills, verbal and written ● Proficiency with Canva ● Strong organizational and administrative skills ● Experience working with diverse populations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ● Career interest in Student Affairs / Higher Education. ● 1-2 years experience in supporting students within a higher education environment ● 1-2 years experience in college student leadership ● Experience working with culturally diverse teams and community partners RATE OF PAY: $20.00 /hr Lewis & Clark College adheres to a nondiscriminatory policy with respect to educational programs, activities, employment, and admission.
