Primary Purpose
Works to advance retention of students through a wide range of activities. Student Life plans events surrounding social, academic, multicultural, health, and safety, volunteer services, and civic engagement.
***This position is only open to Student Workers***
*3 to 20 hours per week*
Description of Essential Functions
Work with Director of Student Life and Recreation Activities to develop events and activities around a large spectrum of topics. Students will research, create publicity, hang flyers, file, and any other job duty associated with the department and event planning and student development and retention.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be current degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 6 credits.
Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Must be eligible to receive FWS based on financial need and eligibility requirements determined by FAFSA.
Required Skills/Experience : Students in this job will need the following skills. You should be able to do these, or show that you can learn how (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Experience with Canva
Experience with various Social Media platforms
Basic computer skills
Ability to plan and organize
