Essential Job Functions Coordinates assessment initiatives across all student engagement programs and activities to support continuous improvement to programs, services and student engagement
Serves as primary advisor to various student organizations, boards and student staff
Supervises the development, implementation and assessment of campus programming (e.g. clubs, organizations, fraternity and sorority life)
Oversees the planning and implementation of student programs, campus events and traditions and theme awareness programming (e.g. women\'s history month, black history month, etc.)
Directs the university\'s work with, and risk management for nationally recognized fraternities and sororities
Supervises co-curricular development of leadership programming
Oversees the budget process for student organizations
Provides direction for emergencies that occur during programming and responds promptly to crisis situations
Oversees the planning, implementation and execution of family programs
Collaborates with staff and other university departments to create transition programs for in-need populations such as first-year, first-generation, legacy, siblings, etc.
Supervises the development of marketing materials for various programs, including print material and material for the department\'s website, collaborating with other departments as needed
Prepares and monitors departmental budget
Supervises and develops department staff, facilitating professional opportunities to improve individual capability and managing performance against job accountabilities, department goals and established university, campus and department policies and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Minimum of a master\'s degree
Moderate amount of experience working in student development, student affairs or other related experience
Please Note: Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Charlotte Campus location upon hire.
