COMPENSATION: $24.34 - $28.60/ hour, Home Office Grade 3

THE OPPORTUNITY YES Prep needs a dynamic Student Information Systems Coordinator, with a robust set of experiences, to make our mission a reality. As a YES Prep employee, you will achieve jaw-dropping results, create pathways to opportunity for our students, and build transformative relationships.
To put it simply, the SIS Coordinator will be responsible for providing application technical support and training to SIS end-users. The SIS coordinator will maintain student information system modules and regularly monitor data input to ensure data follows all state and federal requirements.
THE ROLE When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include: Providing application technical support and training to Skyward users remotely via Teams or by traveling to campus sites; Updating training materials and resources on SIS Sharepoint Site and Professional Development Center; Participating in meetings around student information system capabilities and procedures; Assisting with configurations and maintenance of SIS modules to meet organizational and compliance needs; Assisting SIS Specialists with validation of data and various reports, dashboards and letter templates using the SIS report writing tool; Processing and routinely validating daily imports and user account security in the SIS; Resolving support tickets submitted by SIS end-users to the Student Information System Group in the case management system; Collaborating with SIS team to ensure monthly and end-of-year system maintenance is performed and completed successfully; Developing expertise in providing technical support to student information system platform users; Performing weekly and monthly reviews of data validations to ensure aligned across operational checkpoints; Updating district curriculum and course master data in the SIS in order to ensure compliance, alignment, and data accuracy across systems; Attending Region 4 and SIS training to learn how to better support SIS end users; Additional duties as assigned.

THE MUST HAVES Educational Requirements (one of the following must be true): Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution Associate’s Degree and 1-2 years of equivalent experience (in lieu of a bachelor’s degree) 3 or more years of equivalent experience (in lieu of a bachelor’s degree)
Two years of experience within an elementary or secondary school environment Outstanding record of organization and attention to details Experience with data tracking, people and project management, and communication with a customer-service focus Proficient in current MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Excellent organization, time management and follow-up skills; high sense of urgency; Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback Ability to maintain emotional control under stress Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment Ability to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives at once Demonstrated ability to work on a team Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a timely manner

THE NICE TO HAVES Knowledge of Skyward Qmlativ or other Student Information System Application Knowledge of Solarwinds or other case management system Working knowledge of records management, information discovery, content management, knowledge management, and business process management Ability to juggle multiple tasks and initiative at once
THE PERKS Compensation – This position is a non-exempt, hourly position; offers commensurate with experience.
·          Health and Supplemental Insurance – A $0 monthly medical option or a $24 monthly option that includes $50 YES Prep Paid Health Savings Account contribution, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
