Position Summary:

Impact Christian Academy High School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as aBus Driver and Student Support Staff member. This dual-role position is vital to ensuring safe transportation for students and providing meaningful support throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will be mission-minded, reliable, and passionate about working with youth in a Christ-centered educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Bus Driver Duties:

• Safely operate a school bus to transport students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related events.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidents.
• Enforce bus safety rules and procedures in alignment with school policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration regarding transportation matters.

Student Support Duties:

• Assist in classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, or other areas as needed to support student learning and behavior.
• Provide supervision during transitions, lunch, and other non-instructional times.
• Build positive relationships with students, encouraging spiritual growth and character development.
• Support teachers and staff in implementing school-wide initiatives and interventions.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered school culture.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL with school bus endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
• Experience working with children or youth preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Impact Christian Academy.
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a school setting.
