About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Engagement to serve as a key leader in the division of student affairs. This role involves leading and managing a team of professionals, supporting engagement efforts across multiple campuses, and championing campus traditions that enhance the student experience and build community. The AVP will also be expected to lead strategic initiatives, create revenue opportunities, and integrate co-curricular programming into the broader student success framework.
Applicants for the AVP position at the company should hold a master’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a terminal degree, and have a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, particularly in student affairs. The role requires a candidate with a high level of knowledge in student engagement and leadership practices, proven experience in staff supervision and development, and a strong background in budgeting, research, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a student-first philosophy, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a track record of leading cross-functional teams and large-scale programs. The AVP will face the challenge of managing multiple priorities and must be capable of contributing at both a strategic and tactical level to the vibrant and fast-paced division of student affairs.
