About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President and Chief of Staff to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Vice President for Student Affairs. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight in key areas such as marketing and communications, development, finance, human resources, technology services, and facilities management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the Division's mission and goals are in alignment with those of the university, and the Chief of Staff will be responsible for interpreting and implementing relevant regulations and procedures. The position requires a strong commitment to integrity, strategic alignment, and effective problem-solving, as well as the ability to build partnerships and proactively address challenges.
Applicants for the Associate Vice President and Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Master's degree in higher education or a related field, with a preference for a doctoral degree, and at least 8 years of executive-level managerial and supervisory experience. The role demands excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, a commitment to student development, and a deep understanding of the student affairs field. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in financial and operational leadership, serving as the primary advisor on matters related to the division's various departments.
