Join the University of Wisconsin-Platteville as an Associate Director of Student Access . This position serves as the administrative leader for Student Access, overseeing services and programs that support student success across all UW-Platteville campuses. The Associate Director provides strategic leadership, supervises professional staff, manages budgets, ensures compliance with reporting requirements, and administers initiatives such as the Pioneers Helping Pioneers emergency grant. The role oversees multiple units, including the Disability Access Center, Wright Center for Veterans and Non-Traditional Students, Multicultural Student Affairs, Doyle Center for Gender and Sexuality, the Student Success Center, McNair Program, and Fostering Student Success. Key Job Responsibilities: Exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance of staff within Student Access. Develop unit goals and implement strategies that align with the University Strategic Plan and best serve students while ensuring that policies, procedures, and standards are maintained. Evaluate, design, and implement operations to align with the strategic direction. Assess programs and activities with departments. Cultivate an environment of communication and collaboration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, receptive to direction, demonstrates strong leadership potential, and serves as a positive role model, capable of working effectively both independently and within a team environment. This is a full-time, 12-month, benefit-eligible position with a salary range of $75,000-$80,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
