Co-op: An 8-month long opportunity, Co-op positions are full-time employment experience. Co-ops are fully immersed into the worlds of corporate and production industry as full-time team member. Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part-time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries. Co-op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat's different functions. Role & Responsibility**** Your primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to: TreasurySets Corporate daily cash position using information reporting from various banking applications and Treasury workstation; Includes the NA region - United States, Canada and Mexico Performs daily reconciliation of concentration accounts including reconciling statements against weekly accounts payable files to prior day bank statementsUtilizes cash reconciliation to prepare and distribute daily global cash reports for upper management Assists in controlling the monthly global cash flow forecast operating system and supports team in preparation of rolling cash forecast Assists with the monthly intercompany Netting cycle between entities across various regions globallyPerform financial risk management review such as FX currency analysis, Interest rate exposure analysis, transaction and activity analysisEffectively collaborate with partnering departments and teammates to assist Treasury leadership with ad-hoc projects and various daily activitiesRisk ManagementOversee coordinate Insurance Certificate activity to support customer requirements and desired coverage from various business partnersAssist with risk analytics/modeling of programRecommend and document, contract standards for insurance and indemnification wordingEstablishing and regularly updating a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, measure, monitor and control all aspects of riskAssist in compilation of underwriting data for insurance renewals and programsTax DepartmentDraft informational reporting forms for federal tax compliance.Collect data for special tax calculations/analysis.Assist with departmental survey projects to learn underlying allocation calculations for tax concepts and about the Doosan business.Gather information for audit responses as needed.Tax package preparation, distribution, and intake/follow-up.Process exemption certificates to gain insight into sales and use tax processes.ERP conversion support, such as user acceptance testing, report review and validation.Gather accruals and submit invoice payments to reinforce accounting principles.Participate in monthly/annual update cycle of tax rates, authorization forms, workpaper roll-forwards, etc. to see the tax accounting and compliance function flow.Review and log tax notices.*Job Requirement* Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, Insurance or equivalentAttention to detailAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Team player, fast learner, and adaptable to changeExcellent interpersonal and communications skills is a mustA self-starter and will dig into problems independently and will look for limited guidance Be able to commit to Doosan Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4 months)Basic computer skillsAbility to follow written instructions#WayUp Others**** Student Benefits: Competitive payGain experience on real-life projectsWork directly with skilled professionals at a global companyAttend student-specific events tied to personal and professional development and full-time careers, as well as networking opportunitiesOpportunity to give back through organized Company-sponsored community service eventsFirst access to full-time career opportunitiesTuition reimbursement for co-op/internship related courses up to $1,400 for a 3-credit courseSafety boots and safety glasses reimbursementsRelocation reimbursements, if applicable House-hunting or interview travel reimbursementsMonthly $250 stipendAs a part of the Doosan Group, which employs more than 43,000 people in 38 countries worldwide, the company offers its customers products and solutions to help build stronger businesses and communities.
