About the Role
The Vice President, Transportation Client Services will be responsible for leading and expanding client relationships across the Transportation Division, ensuring excellence in client experience, retention, and growth. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of client services, resolve escalations, and coach your team in maintaining high standards of timeliness and satisfaction. You’ll partner with senior leadership to align account strategy with firm-wide goals, drive revenue expansion and upsell initiatives, and contribute to operational and pricing decisions. You will serve as a trusted liaison between clients and internal teams, translating feedback into strategic improvements, embedding data-driven insights into client strategy, and driving performance against KPIs. In your leadership role, you will build a high-performing client services and account management team, fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will bring at least 12 years of client management experience, ideally in strategic communications, marketing, digital, PR, media, or technology-driven agencies or consultancies, with exposure to public-sector or regulated industries (especially transportation). You should have executive presence, the ability to influence cross-functionally, and strong commercial acumen in growing and retaining large accounts. You must be data-literate, capable of using analytics and client insights to drive decisions, and comfortable in fast-paced, client-facing environments. A Bachelor’s degree is required (an advanced degree is preferred). You should also embody inclusive leadership, with experience driving equity-centered client engagement and leading diverse teams toward measurable outcomes in client retention, satisfaction, and profitability.
