Position: RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

• Assist in the management of labor and delivery emergencies.

• Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes.

• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

• Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

• Support the achievement of departmental and organizational targets.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Evaluate and implement best practices in patient care.

• Maintain high visibility of work activities and results.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in California with a focus on labor and delivery.

• Adherence to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Experience in labor and delivery nursing, preferably 2+ years.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Ability to handle labor and delivery emergencies with composure and skill.

• Strong ability to monitor and assess patient conditions effectively.

• Proficiency in developing patient care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team.

• Experience in documenting patient care activities accurately and timely.

• Excellent communication skills for educating patients and families.

• Engage in performance measurement initiatives to improve care quality.
