Position: RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

• Assist in the management of labor and delivery emergencies.

• Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes.

• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

• Evaluate and implement best practices in patient care.

• Support a culture of accountability and individual success.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

• Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

• Maintain high visibility of work activities and results.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California with experience in labor and delivery.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Ability to maintain high visibility of work activities and results.

• Proven ability to monitor and assess labor and delivery patients effectively.

• Ability to manage labor and delivery emergencies efficiently.

• Engagement in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Strong skills in educating patients and families about delivery processes.

• Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.

• Experience documenting patient care accurately and comprehensively.
