Position Overview:
The School of Art & Communication is seeking candidates for Student Employment Equipment Clerk. This role includes checking audio/visual equipment out to staff and students, assisting with equipment selections, checking returned equipment for missing or damaged components, providing technical support for printing, lighting, audio, and editing labs, and checking inventory databases for issues.
Responsibilities:
Check out/in audio/visual equipment
Assist Faculty/students with lab equipment
Basic equipment maintenance
Inventory monitoring and reporting
Setup lighting studio, darkroom and TV studio for classes
Open and secure edit suites and audio lab for users
Learning Objectives:
Customer service skills
Basic operating skills with audio/ visual equipment
Proper maintenance of equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Operational knowledge of audio, cameras, lighting, printing, and computer equipment
Customer service experience
Highly organized
Punctual and responsible
