Student Worker - Vehicle Maintenance Asst

Purpose/Objective of the Role: The Public Safety Department is seeking a student to assist with the care and upkeep of department vehicles to ensure they remain in safe and reliable condition. Tasks & Responsibilities: Assisting with routine vehicle inspections (checking fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, etc.).
Coordinating and transporting vehicles for scheduled maintenance and repairs.
Maintaining accurate vehicle logs and service records.
Keeping vehicles clean, organized, and ready for use.
Running errands and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills: Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible to become a registered OWU driver.
Basic knowledge of vehicle care and maintenance is preferred, but not required (training provided).
Must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
