Job Summary/Basic Function

Attend Tutoring / Peer Learning hours and assist students as needed. Required Qualifications Must be a current Geography Major in good academic standing during the time of employment.

Must have approval from Geography Tutoring Supervisor (currently Dr. Cuthbert).

Students tutoring must have received a B+ or higher in the course(s) tutoring.

Must be referred by the faculty in the department.

Must complete the three required clearances PA Criminal Background Child Abuse FBI Fingerprint Preferred Qualifications Job Duties Tasks include but are not limited to:

Contacting individual tutees and arranging sessions.

Maintaining records for group tutoring sessions.

Preparing for tutoring sessions.

Promptly reporting hours, tutee attendance and other information as needed. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Be able to sit and work with students during entire tutoring session.
