Position Summary
The Department of Surgery is looking for Student Research Worker (CU student). We are seeking a highly motivated college student with an interest in medical imaging, anatomy, and research to assist in an ongoing surgical video analysis project. The primary responsibility will be labeling anatomical structures in cardiac surgical videos to support the development of machine learning models for image segmentation and AI-assisted surgery.
Responsibilities
Annotate and segment high-definition cardiac surgical videos using labeling tools.
Identify and label key anatomic structures with high precision.
Collaborate with the research team to ensure consistency and accuracy in annotations.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent certificate.
Technical training or equivalency, and 6 months of related laboratory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Introductory-intermediate python coding skills.
