1. Education: Must be enrolled in a recognized school of radiologic technology. Must maintain CPR while employed at Unity Health and maintain a temporary license upon completion of the program until Radiologic Technology registry or an equivalent modality is obtained.
2. Training and Experience: Prefer 1 year radiologic school experience.
3. Job Knowledge: Knowledge of radiographic examinations as well as the procedures that require the use of contrast agents. Have a knowledge of radiographic equipment operations and radiation safety. Must also be knowledgeable about patient transfers and positioning techniques.
4. DESCRIPTION:
Coordinates and performs the diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients. Open, accurate and responsive communication, oral or written, on an individual basis or in groups. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines. Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct. Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty and disaster work as required by workload and/or unforeseen circumstances. Must display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics through geriatrics
