Position Information:
The Department of Family and Community Medicine at OU-Tulsa is seeking a Student Program Coordinator to support various learner programs within our department. This position will primarily support the Department of Family and Community Medicine Student Programs and Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. This position will also provide administrative support to department faculty and residency program.
Duties are complex and of an advanced nature, to include but not limited to GME and student course coordination, maintaining files, scheduling appointments, managing inventory, typing, preparing reports and correspondence, distributing information, conducting research and computation, managing office procedures, assisting with, and coordinating activities.
Essential Duties:
Coordinates and provides administrative support Department of Family and Community Medicine Student Program, Sports Medicine Fellowship
Coordinates information required for on-going program recertification, annual program evaluations and internal reviews, including preparation of any/all forms for ACGME site visits
Provides general Administrative Support to the Clerkship Director, Sports Medicine and PT faculty.
Provides Administrative support to the Family and Community Medicine Residency Program Director, Associate Program Director, and Program Coordinator.
Provides meeting coordination, calendar management, & general support.
Works as a liaison to coordinate program schedules with outpatient clinic schedules
Performs support-oriented job duties that are varied, and often highly complex and of an advance nature.
Serves as a resource to other support personnel; performs support-related duties such as maintaining files, scheduling appointments, managing inventory, typing, preparing reports, conducting correspondence, distributing information.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
--- Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
Equivalency/ Substitution: Will accept 48 months of equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Working Conditions:
Physical: Sit for long periods of time.Ability to bend, lift, stoop and carry.Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
Environmental: Standard office environment.Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Computer skills, including proficiency in navigating and maintaining databases
Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
Highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to communicate well and build quickly with students, faculty and staff
