The Nursing Assistant II (NA II) is an entry-level position specifically designed for current nursing students aiming to enrich their preparation for a nursing career. Under the guidance of an experienced nurse, you will acquire valuable hands-on experience by providing safe, efficient, age-specific care to patients and families in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and/or sustain optimal health status.? The role is designed to build upon the experience gained in the classroom and during clinical rotations. Qualifications Education

Current enrollment in an accredited professional A.D.N. nursing program with satisfactory academic record (Required) and

(BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Current enrollment with satisfactory academic record (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency)

Completion of an appropriate clinical rotation including patient care activities, including ambulating, transferring, bathing & grooming. (Required proficiency)

Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (i.e. stethoscope, thermometers, glucometers, and electronic monitoring devices). (Required proficiency)

Excellent communication skills. (Required proficiency)
