Hours: Approximately 2-5 hours per week

Duties:

Join an integrative care team and provide evidence-based, preventive health-oriented instruction for mind-body movement therapy. This could include Tai Qi, Qi Gong, yoga, or other mind-body movement therapies. Group instruction will be delivered within a healthy aging clinic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Clients will be age 50+, community dwelling and ambulatory. The goals of the clinic are to equip older adults with support to thrive, develop resilience, and live vibrantly and fully at any age. Duties include delivering developing and delivering group exercise instruction, promoting group classes, and meeting with clinic leadership as needed to create an elevated experience for clinic clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering mind-body therapy (e.g. Tai Qi, Qi Gong, yoga) in group class setting.
  • Certification in said therapy preferred but not required.
  • Past experience instructing older adults in mind-body therapy is favorable.
